January:- St.Joan’s
Public School, Zirakpur celebrated 68th Republic Day with fervor and
enthusiasm. The tiny tots dressed up as national heroes like Bhagat Singh,
Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose stole the show.
The students enacted two skits on “ The Fundamental
Rights” and “Importance of Unity” and secularism in India. The song sung by the
girls “De di hamein azadi” echoed the school premises.
Dances performed by the school students on
the patriotic songs added new flavor to the celebration.
Shanta Nayyar, Chairperson of the school
thanked the students and teachers for their efforts.
