Zee Classic Presents ‘Little Star’:A One Of A Kind Tribute to Bollywood

Chandigarh 26th January:- After the phenomenal applause received for Timeless Asha, RD Nights, Daastan-E-Rafi, Zee Classic brings to you an exclusive musical and dance tribute to Classic Indian Cinema with ‘Little Star’ on Saturday, 28th January, 6 PM onwards. A one of a kind show, it features young talented kid superstars singing and dancing to the tunes of Bollywood melodies ranging from the era of 60s to the late 90s.
Full of megastars, high voltage drama, and the highest number of films produced per year, Bollywood has recently completed over a century since its inception. Indian cinema is the only film industry in the world which can claim an unprecedented throne to music and dance. Hosted by the versatile television actor Jay Soni, ‘Little Star’ celebrates the foundation and torch bearers of Indian Cinema. The show is a perfect blend of music and fresh talent and pays a tribute to the Golden Era of Indian Cinema.
Introducing viewers to the iconic Black and White era of the Hindi film industry, Dance India DanceL’il Masters Prathmesh Mane and Vishal Jadhav will shake a leg with talented dancers Julie and Vidhi. The original 'showman' of the industry, ruddy-cheeked and light-eyed, Raj Kapoor was unmistakably destiny's blue-eyed boy. Multi-talented and versatile, he set an example for generations to follow. A musical tribute by DIDL’il Masters to Raj Kapoor is the highlight of the show. The extravaganza will also feature a performance dedicated to Big B. Adding to the glorious carnival and saluting the ‘Dancing Diva of Bollywood – Madhuri Dixit’, Dance India Dance fame Aditi Gholap gives a spectacular dance performance. Capturing the essence of ‘Old is Gold’, Sakshi Tisgaonkar mesmerizes with her dance moves. ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Líl Champ’ fame Varanyam Pandya and Arunita Kanjilal give a remarkable performance singing various memorable hits.
