Chandigarh 10th February:- Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations and it stands true for Parakhjeet Singh, contesting for the most coveted title in &TV’s “The Voice India Season 2”. The Punjabi munda who hails from Sangrur has been learning music from YasinDarbar for past 9 years with a dream to make it big in music the industry. Through the show, Parakhjeet has gained mentorship under Bollywood’s blue eyed boy, singer Shaan and composer Salim. And there seems to be no looking back for this young lad who has made it to the Top 12 on the show basis his undisputed performance. Parakhjeet took a few days off from the rehearsals and visited Chandigarh to meet his well-wishers.
Parakhjeet’s soulful voice
won everyone’s heart when he performed the song ‘Ikk Kudi’ way
back in the blind auditions. Initially a part of team Salim, he was soon stolen
by Shaan. Under Shaan’s tutelage, Parakhjeet is now a much confident singer and
continues to charm the audience.
On his visit to Chandigarh,
Parakhjeet said that Chandigarh is a beautiful city and he has
stayed in this city with his friends. He has spent maximum time in Sector 17. His
friends in Chandigarh have been an important part of his musical journey and he
is extremely happy to be back in the city. The Voice India has been a great
experience and is definitely a turning point in his career. It feels wonderful
that such renowned names in the industry see a winner in you. It’s only
motivating. He hopes the audience also feels alike and he hope they vote for
him wholeheartedly. It has been a humbling experience to come back to home
ground and be part of all the love and good wishes showered by the people here.
