September:- Two of the Ph.D. students, Monika Kajal and Garima Bhatia
from biotechnology department of Panjab University have been chosen to present
their work at an EMBL organized international conference: The Non-Coding
Genome, September 2017 at Heidelberg, Germany. They are working with Dr.
Kashmir Singh on “how non-coding RNAs regulate plant functions and influence
expression of important metabolites”?
Monika
and Garima will present their research work on miRNAs mediated regulation of
secondary metabolism and role of LncRNAs on plant development, respectively in
the conference. The Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, is supporting
students by means of travel grant.
