यह जानकारी देते हुए सभा के प्रधान दलीप चंद गुप्ता तथा मंदिर पुजारी पं दीप शर्मा ने बताया कि 12 जुलाई को प्रात: 6 बजे सैक्टर 23 सी व डी में प्रभात फेरी का आयोजन किया जायेगा तद्पश्चात् प्रात: 7:30 बजे हवन किया जायेगा जिसके पश्चात् क था का भोग व लगभग हजारों आमंत्रित संत महात्माओं का पूजन श्री श्री 108 स्वामी श्री पंचानन गिरी जी महाराज के सानिध्य में किया जायेगा और उन्हेंं वस्त्र, फल तथा दक्षिणा दी जायेगी और विशाल भंडारें का प्रसाद दिया जायेगा इसके बाद आम जनता के लिये भंडारा वितरण किया जायेगा। 

इस अवसर कथा व्यास अतुल कृष्ण शास्त्री ने श्रद्धालुओं को त्याग के बारें में बताया कि मनुष्य को मोह माया से दूर रहकर भगवान का निरतंर भजन करना चाहिए। जो मनुष्य हरि नाम का जाप करते है भगवान उनको भजते हैं।

FIJEEHA and CLove Dental organises Workshop on Oral Care

Chandigarh 11th July:- FIJEEHA (Forum for Indian Journalists On Education, Environment, Health & Agriculture) in association with Clove Dental organised a workshop for media personnel today at Chandigarh Press Club, Chandigarh. Around 40 journalist participated in the workshop. The workshop was aimed to impart the healthy tips on Oral Care to media fraternity. 

Doctors from Clove Dental stressed that prevention in terms of good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups is a must, as visiting a dentist under emergent situation is only like band-aid on the immediate problem but does not provide any long-term solution to poor dental health. Most common unhealthy oral habits include thumb and finger sucking, tongue thrusting, and teeth grinding which are widely seen in children of 3-6 years of age which affects the child’s permanent or adult teeth. 

Dr Pankaj Kaushik, Zonal Clinical Head, Chandigarh said that it is necessary that parents only use positive connotations attached to dental visits. Terms like drilling, painful, needles should be avoided as it creates a stressful experience for the child which leads to neglect of dental health. Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama: Will Tenali Rama be Able to Save Kotwal from Death Penalty

Chandigarh 11th July:- Sony SAB’s historical drama Tenali Rama never fails to amuse viewers with Rama’s combination of intelligence, wit and humor.

In the upcoming track, Tirumalamba (Priyanka Singh) finds three magical vases, which were symbols of good omen and were gifted by a great king to Krishnadevraya’s (ManavGohil) ancestors. As per the orders of the king, Kotwal Pathak) was asked to keep the vases safe, but as fate would have it, he ended up breaking one of them. Furious, Krishnadevraya gives him death punishment.

Upset with the outcome, Kotwal, along with his family, visits Rama and requests him to save him from the punishment. Rama devises a plan with Kotwal, who is in jail. The next day, at darbaar, Kotwal expresses his last wish to the king i.e. to transfer his punishment to Rama, who accepts it. The King feels bad since Rama will soon be a father and tells him to find a way to save himself from the punishment.

Krishna Bharadwaj, who plays the role of Tenali Rama, said that the upcoming track is really interesting. He had fun shooting it. This time, Kotwal’s life is at stake and Rama will try to save himself and others from the undesirable situation and impress King Krishnadevraya. How he does it, is something to watch out for.

Mr. Prince & Miss. Princess North 2018 to Take Place in Region

Details of this pageant which will give an opportunity to people in the age group of 14-30  across the region, were announced at a press meet by Tricity's ace Choreographer, MTV Fame Artist & Director of Art of Dance Studio, Dipesh Sekhri and Preetika Sharma, Director, Privika Entertainer Event Co. He is happy to share that the audition in Chandigarh will take place on July 22 at Piccadily Mall, Chandigarh.

Preetika Sharma said that auditions will be held in 7 different cities -- Ambala on July 15, Chandigarh on July 22, Shimla on July 25,Patial on July 29, Ludhiana on Aug 5, Jalandhar on Aug 12, Delhi onAug 19 and Sundarnagar on August 26.  Out of all these cities 50 contestants will be chosen for  walking on the Ramp in front of the judges. Three days of training which includes personality development, stage confidence, talent grooming, handling question/answer round, ramp walk style dress, dressing appropriately so that they can perform better and efficiently, will be held before the finale.

The icing on the cake is that Prince Narula & Yuvika Chaudhary will be judging the talent of the youth and will be bringing them up on stage to present the title of Mr. Prince & Miss Princess North 2018. What's more, the winners will also get a chance to get a portfolio shoot done with the two celebrities.

AISU Recommends Common Entrance Test as Step Towards Professionalization of B.Voc Courses

Chandigarh 11th July:- The only pure skills university in India with a ‘Swiss Dual’ education system, Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur today organized third Association of Indian Skill Universities (AISU) meeting. The participants included Jayant Joshi, President, Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust (RUJCT); Brig (Dr.) Surjit Pabla, President AISU and Vice Chancellor of Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU); Dr. Anurag, Pro-VC, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM);  Vikrant Pande, Provost (VC), TeamLease Skills University (TLU); Abhishek Pandit (Rabindra Nath Tagore University Bhopal).

The suggestions and recommendations on norms for skill universities submitted to the government after the second AISU meeting at HVSU Gurugram, were discussed and their progress communicated.  The members also suggested that Skill University’s territorial jurisdiction limit needs to be looked at where skill universities should be allowed to facilitate apprenticeships to the students in other states to help them have on-the-job training.

Recommending Common Entrance test for B.Voc, Brig. (Dr.) Surjit Singh Pabla, President AISU and Vice Chancellor of Bhartiya Skill Development University said that we suggest that for all Skill Universities, a common entrance test must be incorporated in order to professionalize B.Voc. Courses.  This common entrance test would help us in getting quality students from the entire Country and just like IITs, it would benefit students applying from country-wide by allowing them to choose amongst the best of Skill Universities.

While addressing the members of AISU, Jayant Joshi, President, Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust (RUJCT) said that AISU is expecting a positive response from UGC and MSDE regarding the recommendations and the proposals on live virtual classes as an alternate mode of learning and admission criteria to the skill universities. UGC is likely to prepare guidelines and norms for skill universities where the recommendations of AISU are likely to be considered.

NIPER's Deepika Awarded with Newton Bhabha Fellowship 2018

Chandigarh 11th July:- NIPER students are bringing laurels to the institution. Ms. Deepika Kathuria, a Ph.D. research scholar from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar has bagged the Newton-Bhabha fellowship as per declared results by DST (New Delhi) and British council (London, UK).

Ms. Deepika is currently working under the supervision of Prof. P. V. Bharatam in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. Hailing from Rohtak in Haryana, Ms. Deepika is a DST Inspire fellow in the institute. Her research includes synthesizing and developing the new molecules for the treatment of leishmania (Kala azar). This fellowship is being sponsored by the British Council and the Government of India, which provides the opportunity for four months stay and research experience for Ms. Deepika at University of Sheffield, UK. There, she is learning advanced techniques of cell culture and development of anti-Alzheimer agents while working with Prof. Beining Chen, a professor in Medicinal Chemistry. This type of exchange visits of the scholars of NIPER is keeping the progressive environment of NIPER and ensuring that it competes with the best in the world. These efforts of the scholars from NIPER are being hailed by the entire scientific community in Tricities.

Urban Health Training Center Launches "Swachh Indira Colony Abhiyan”

Chandigarh 11th July:- Urban Health Training Centre, Indira Colony, being run by the School of Public Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh provides comprehensive package of preventive, promotive and curative health services to about 28000 slum dwellers since 2003. Urban Health Training Centre along with Public Health Development Society, Indira Colony, a multi-stakeholder committee in the area had launched Swachh Indira Colony Abhiyan in January 2016, which is first of its kind in city. Public Health Development Society and other key members of the colony had passed a resolution to achieve ‘Swachh Indira Colony’ by 31^stDecember, 2018.

To achieve the same, multiple activities are undertaken. ‘Swachh Indira Colony campaign Fortnight is being initiated from 12^th July 2018 to 26^th July 2018. On this occasion, an inaugural function for the launch of the campaign is being organised at Govt. High School, Indira Colony on 12^th July 2018. Dr G Dewan, Director Health Services, K K Yadav, Municipal Commissioner, Vinod Aggarwal, Deputy Mayor, Dr Pradeep Vasesi, MOH, Municipal Corporation has been invited to grace the occasion along with key stakeholders of Chandigarh administration, National Service Scheme volunteers, and representatives from local government schools, Anganwadi centres, Local Welfare associations and other key local members in the area. Key activities during the fortnight will be cleanliness drives in specified areas in the colony, poster display, and focus group discussion with community members at AWCs and UHTC where women will be counselled about better sanitation solid waste management practices. Public will be educated about keeping their surroundings clean and throw garbage saggregated into the wet and dry dustbins. Pamphlets will also be distributed. Mohalla meetings are also organised periodicall to sensitize the community to keep their own surroundings clean. Fortnightly supervision of randomly selected areas for cleanliness is undrertaken under the campaign.

A fortnight was observed last year which involved cleaning drive in the railway crossing area, vicinity of religious institutions, old Indira Colony and jhuggi area

Swachh Indira Colony Abhiyan aims to work towards accomplishing the vision of 'Clean India' by 2 October 2019. Despite the popularised political will via Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the success can not be achieved without public participation. Success of such initiatives will involve participation of public and public services sector. The mid-term evaluation has also been successful in understanding the areas that are perceived as important by the participants in this regard.

Urban Health Centre, Indira Colony is the only health centre in Chandigarh running Women Skill Development and Health Promotion Centre (stitching and beautician course of 6 months), where health promotion activities are carried besides development of skills among women and adolescents. Last Passout batch will be given certificates.

दो महिला प्राध्यापिकाओं ने लेक्चरर की नियुक्ति को लेकर जांच की मांग की

Chandigarh 10th July:- चंडीगढ़ की दो महिला प्राध्यापिकाओं ने चंडीगढ़ के प्रतिष्ठित कॉलेज में लेक्चरर की हुई नियुक्ति पर सवालिया निशान लगाते हुए इसकी शिकायत देश के प्रधानमंत्री, राष्ट्रपति, मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय, उप राष्ट्रपति सहित पंजाब के राज्यपाल, पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री, चंडीगढ़ की सांसद, गृह सचिव को लिखित शिकायत भेज कर उचित जांच किये जाने की मांग की है।

चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित प्रेस वार्ता में प्राध्यापिका प्रीत अरोड़ा और रजनीश ने बताया कि वो मेहरचंद महाजन डी॰ए.वी कालेज फ़ार विमेन चंडीगढ़ में असिस्टैंट प्रोफेसर (हिंदी की कान्ट्रेक्ट ) की पोस्ट के लिए इंटरव्यू देने गयी । इंटरव्यू  लेने के लिए विषय विशेषज्ञ के रूप में डाँ गुरमीत सिंह ( अध्यक्ष , हिंदी विभाग पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय, चंडीगढ़ ) उपस्थित थे । प्रीत अरोड़ा ने बताया कि इंटरव्यू में अपनी योग्यता के अंतर्गत (एम . ए हिंदी में 69.5./. अंको के साथ बी .एड (82./. ) अंक ,  पी एच .डी(हिंदी ) के साथ साथ ( 11 किताबें प्रकाशित , 11 शोध पत्र प्रकाशित ,75 के क़रीब आलेख , (राष्ट्रीय व अन्तरराष्ट्रीय पत्रिकाओं में ), 17 पत्र वाचन ,7 सेमिनारो में सहभागिता , कई बार आल इंडिया रेडियो व दूरदर्शन में वक़्ता के रूप में आमन्त्रित , विविध कार्यकर्मों में निर्णायक की भूमिका , व अतिथि संपादक की भूमिका , 5 साल का टीचिंग एक्सपीरियन्स व नेट एक्सेम्पशन के प्रमाण पत्र  के साथ अपना पूरा प्रोफ़ाइल जमा करवाया । इंटरव्यू  देने सिर्फ़ 4 उम्मीदवार ही आए । परंतु डाँ गुरमीत सिंह ने मेरी योग्यता को दरकिनार करते हुए अपनी ही छात्रा सुनिता कुमारी ( जिसने हाल ही  में डाँ गुरमीत सिंह के निर्देशन में पीं.एच .डी ,हिंदी शुरू की है ) की नियुक्ति कर दी । सुनिता कुमारी  सिर्फ़ नेट की परीक्षा पास है । मेरे साथ यह सरेआम अन्याय हुआ है ।

कुछ इसी प्रकार से प्राध्यापिका रजनीश ने भी अपने साथ इंटरव्यू के दौरान हुए वाकये को बताया।

प्रीत अरोड़ा और रजनीश ने कहा कि  आख़िर शिक्षा क्षेत्र में ऐसा कब तक चलेगा ? ये पहली घटना नहीं है इससे पहले भी कई बार ऐसा हो चुका है । उन्होंने कहा  कि आखिरकार क्यों नहीं योग्यता की परख की जाती ? आख़िर उन्हें  इंसाफ़ कौन देगा ? अगर शिक्षा क्षेत्र में ऐसे ही भ्रष्टाचार व नाइंसाफी चलती रही तो आज के योग्य युवाओं का भविष्य अवश्य ही अन्धकारमय हो जायेगा l अगर हमारे समाज में एक ओर ‘बेटी बचाओ – बेटी पढाओ’ और ‘जागो ग्राहक जागो’ एवं अपने अधिकारों के प्रति सचेत रहने की मुहिम चलाई जा रही है तो फिर क्यों योग्यता और ईमानदारी को नज़रंदाज़ किया जाता है l                  

उन्होंने अपील की कि इस  विषय में जल्द से जल्द उचित विभागीय नियमानुसार कार्यवाही की जाए और मेहर चंद महाजन डी .ए .वी कालेज फॉर वूमेन, सैक्टर 36 ए ,चंडीगढ़ में गलत तरीके से की गई नियुक्ति की निष्पक्ष जाँच की जाए व योग्यता के आधार पर सही उम्मीदवार का चयन किया जाए l

NBFCs Growth Increasingly Driven by AI & Big Data

Chandigarh 10th July:- NBFCs are building best-in- class technology to automate the entire process of lending – right from loan origination, customer on-boarding to loan disbursement.

Non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) today are playing a large role in meeting the financial needs of businesses and individuals who have traditionally remained un-served or underserved by the banks. Couple of years back these NBFCs would have been considered as fools to dabble in such unchartered territory where banks used to avoid or neglect.

Banking with underserved was considered to be unsafe. But today the same unbanked and underserved is seen as huge potential for business. All thanks the digital transformation that has seen NBFCs using tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data analytics and algorithms to serve their customers, both existing and new segments, much quickly and with lesser hassles and delinquency.

Most NBFCs have automated at least the first leg of loan origination and customer on-boarding. Loan requests are being registered through online and digital platforms of lenders. Traditionally, the process of filling up a bank loan form and waiting for approval would entail a long waiting time. Use of technology has enabled the customer to complete the process online within minutes from their computers and on-the-go from their handheld devices. Aadhaar data enables instant e-KYC or digital verification of customers.

The credit underwriting process, which required an army of people to pour over tonnes of paperwork, has become technology driven. NBFCs are relying on advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analysis, Internet of Things (IoT) and Algorithms for alternate credit scoring methods. Social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp etc. and online behavioural patterns is being used to get unique customer insights, psychometric scoring and predictive analysis for possible default.

Devang Mody, Executive Director & CEO, Reliance Money said that the future of NBFCs lies in having originate-to distribute (OTD) business models with a fully integrated back-end, middleware and front-end services for making the entire lending stack technology-driven. Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi Invites Unpublished Manuscripts from City Based Writers

Chandigarh 10th July:- Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi invites city-based writers (working or residing in Chandigarh) to submit unpublished book-length manuscripts in Hindi, English, Punjabi and Urdu. The best entries would be given financial assistance for publication under Grant- in- Aid scheme of the Akademi. The following categories will be considered in Poetry, Short Story, Novel, Play and in Children's Literature.

Entries may be submitted at the Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi office on 1st floor of the Divisional Library, Sector 34. Deadline for submission of manuscripts is 10th August, 2018. Length of manuscripts: Novels/ short stories: minimum 30,000 words, Poetry: minimum 70 pages, Play: minimum 30 pages (printed/ typed). Those authors who have availed Grant-in-Aid in the previous year are not eligible.

Chandigarh 10th July:- चितकारा यूनिवर्सिटी में एक परस्पर संवाद सत्र में जानी मानी पोषणविद् अंजू अत्रे ने विद्यार्थियों को आज के भागदौड भरे जीवन में स्वस्थ जीवन की महत्ता के विषय में बताया। बातचीत के दौरान उन्होनें अपने जीवन में छोटे बदलाव के महत्ता को प्रकाशित किया जैसे कि प्रतिदिन एक मुठ्ठी बादाम खाना से और प्रतिदिन नियमित व्यायाम करना स्वस्थ जीवन को व्यवस्थित रखता है। उन्होनें यह भी समझाया कि किस प्रकार बादाम के साथ स्मार्ट स्नैकिंग स्वस्थ जीवन की ओर बढने का एक श्रेष्ठ मार्ग है और पेट का भरने की पूर्णता का अहसास, भार तथा मधुमेह प्रबंधन तथा स्वस्थ ह्रदय की देखभाल में बादाम की भूमिका की व्याख्या की।

भारत बचाओं जनांदोलन में उमड़े युवा कांग्रेसी

panchkula 10th July:- हरियाणा युवा कांग्रेस ने भाजपा सरकार की नीतियों को ‘जनविरोधी’ करार देते हुए आज 'भारत बचाओ जन आंदोलन' की शुरुआत की और इसके तहत मार्च निकाला जिसमें संगठन के पदाधिकारी एवं कार्यकर्ता शामिल हुए। ‘ हाथों में तख्ती लिए युवा कांग्रेसियों ने भाजपा भगाओ, भारत बचाओ के नारे लगाए।  इस दौरान यूथ कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष केशव चंद यादव व राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष बीवी श्रीनिवास मुख्यातिथि के तौर पर शामिल हुए । ये आंदोलन पूरे देश में किया जा रहा है और पंचकूला में आॅल इंडिया यूथ कांग्रेस के नेशनल सेक्रेटरी व हरियाणा प्रभारी जगदीप कम्बोज गोल्डी, हरियाणा यूथ कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सचिन कुंडू की अध्यक्षता भारत बचाओ जन आंदोलन' की शुरुआत की गई।  

भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष केशव चंद यादव ने कहा कि यह जन आंदोलन देश में बढ़ती अव्यवस्था और मोदी सरकार की जन विरोधी नीतियों के खिलाफ है। उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार के गलत नीतियों के खिलाफ हम लड़ेंगे, युवा कांग्रेसी डरेंगे नहीं। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा सत्ता सँभालने के बाद से ही देश में किसान और युवा की स्थिति दयनीय हो गयी है। देश में महंगाई ने कमर तोड़कर रख दी है। किसान को न तो फसल का उचित दाम मिल रहा है और न समय पर भुगतान हो रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा की भाजपा सरकार ने खिलाड़ियों और किसानों की स्थिति पहले से काफी बदत्तर कर दी।  उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले दिनों में वह हरियणा में ब्लॉक स्तर पर कार्यक्रम करेंगे और ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को साथ जोड़ेंगे।  उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा प्रदेश की जनता मौजूदा सरकार से काफी परेशान हैं क्योकि इस सरकार ने केवल दमन की निति अपनाई हैं। 

राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष बी वी श्रीनिवास ने कहा कि आजे देश में युवा बेरोजगार हैं, किसान परेशान हैं कि उनकी फसलों की वाजिब कीमत नहीं मिल रही है। देश में महिला कहीं भी सुरक्षित नहीं है। हाल यह है कि आम आदमी त्रस्त है और सरकार मस्त है। इन हालातों में लोगों के पास आवाज उठाने के अलावा कोई उपाय नहीं बचा हुआ है।

हरियाणा युवा कांग्रेस के प्रभारी एंव राष्ट्रीय सचिव जगदीप कम्बोज गोल्डी ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने हर साल दो करोड़ युवाओं को रोजगार देने का वादा किया था, जिसको पूरा करने में पूरी तरह असफल रही है। वर्तमान केंद्र व प्रदेश सरकार युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ कर रही है। रोजगार के नाम पर पकौड़ा बेचने का सलाह दे रही है। इस सरकार में किसी को भी अपनी बात रखने का हक नहीं है।

हरियाणा युवा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सचिन कुंडू कहा कि 'इस सरकार में महंगाई अपने चरम पर है। पेट्रोल डीजल के दाम आसमान छू रहे हैं। किसान परेशान हैं कि उनकी फसलों की वाजिब कीमत नहीं मिल रही है। युवा नौकरी न मिलने के कारण परेशान हैं।'नोटबंदी और जीएसटी लागू करके सरकार ने व्यापार की कमर तोड़ दी है जिससे युवाओं में बेरोजगारी और हताशा बढ़ रही है।

युवा कांग्रेस  प्रधान सौरव गर्ग ने कहा कि ‘यह जन आंदोलन देश मे बढ़ती अव्यवस्था और भाजपा सरकार की जन विरोधी नीतियों के खिलाफ है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘ मोदी जी ने कहा था कि सत्ता में आने के बाद काला धन लाएंगे, लोकपाल लाएंगे। हालात ये हैं कि काला धन आना तो दूर, सरकार की सरपरस्ती में देश का 61,036 करोड़ रूपये का बैंकों का सफ़ेद धन नीरव मोदी और मेहुल चौकसी जैसे काले चोर लूट कर भाग गए।

Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj is Being Honoured as Supreme Spiritual Icon of the Year

Chandigarh 10th July:- Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj is being honoured by the U.S. based International Organization ‘We Care for Humanity’ (WCH) as the 2018 Supreme Spiritual Icon of the year. This Award for the year 2017 was given to Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.

This information was given by C.L. Gulati, Secretary, Headquarters he said that the Award was conveyed to Her Holiness by a letter dated June 4, 2018 from Her Excellency Princess Maria Torres, the Founder President of the Organization and Chairperson of its Global Order of Dignitaries and Philanthropists (G.O.D.) Awards Committee.

The letter says WCH takes extreme pride announcing that G.O.D. Awards Committee has reached its unanimous decision to recognize Her Holiness as the ‘2018 Supreme Spiritual Icon of the year’ for the exemplary socio-spiritual and charitable activities she has made thus far globally. The Award will be given at a special function to be held in Kolkata on July 28 and 29, 2018 in the presence of luminaries and distinguished guests from all walks of life.

‘We Care for Humanity’ advocates human rights, world peace, green environment, education, health, eradication of poverty and empowerment. Through these Annual Global Dignity Awards, it honours the ‘greatest humanitarians of the world’ who have improved the world through their loud boisterous voice and immense compassion.
