Sabkuch Symphony Searches New Music Maestro

Chandigarh 06^th March:- When it comes to talent, India has no dearth of it. And, when it comes to music, India has no dearth of passion for this particular art. Music resides in every street, village, big and small city of our country. Hence, for the musicophiles, Sabkuch Music, which is an online platform, brings an online music competition named Music Symphony.
The online show will be India’s first and its own kind reality show, in which aspirants including singers, musicians and bands are welcomes for the participation. A venture by Sabkuch.com, the completion kicked off on February 17 and 150 participants have already registered for the participation.

winners will be judged by music sensations Kanika Kapoor and Raj Anand Raj.

After registering on Sabkuch Music, the participants will be able to have their own channel on this web portal. Here, the participants can upload tracks (music & songs) on their Sabkuch music channel. 3 different winners will be chosen from two different categories – 1st category (Artists & Singers) & 2nd category  (Bands & Instrumentalists), first winner will get Rs 2.51 lakh & Video release from a leading record lable, 2nd winner will get Rs 1 lack 1 thousand each, 3rd & other runner up get lots of gift hampers from Sabkuch Music.

Growth of Fasal Bima-Growth of Haryana:Alok Agarwal

Chandigarh 02^nd March:- With a view to achieve target of 50% farmers to be covered under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) by 2019 more and more initiatives are being taken by insurers & the Government. 2016-17 has been the year of lot of activities and the credit goes to Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Haryana Government and various Insurers.

According to Alok Agarwal, Executive Director, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. that ICICI Lombard is having a great focus on Fasal Bima Yojana and we have decided to use combination of Physical reach (Feet on Street) & Digital Technology to reach the farmers located in 7 districts of Haryana to ensure maximum coverage of both loanee and non-loanee farmers in the Districts allotted to ICICI Lombard.

He further informed that in Haryana, ICICI Lombard has insured 1.8 lakh farmers for Kharif 2016 (mostly Paddy crop) & 1.3 lakh farmers for Rabi 2016 (mostly wheat crop) in seven districts of Palwal, Panipat, Rohtak, Fatehbad, Mewat, Jhajjar and Yamuna Nagar.

During the year 2016 – 17, with the initiative of Central Government duly supported by State Governments and participation of various Insurance Companies, our country has seen very robust growth of Fasal Bima. It is heartening to see that such growth has been achieved in one year. On all India basis, premium collection during the year has gone up from Rs. 5700 Crores (previous year 2015-16) to Rs 21000 Crores (estimated 2016-17). This is an increase of 268% in single year.

Alok  Agarwal further said that our estimates show that this figure will go up to Rs 23000 Crores during 2018-19 and Fasal Bima will become a major part of Indian General Insurance Industry. Alok Agarwal informed that number of farmers insured under Fasal Bima Yojana (Crop Insurance) has touched more than 39 Lakhs (Kharif/ Rabi combined and during 2017-2019 period this number will go up significantly)

Answering the question how ICICI Lombard plans to reach the farmers in villages in Haryana he  informed that the Company is utilising various intermediaries to reach Crores of farmers by utilising the services of various banks (ICICI, other Banks, Cooperative Banks/ Rural Banks/ Gramin Banks), its own branches/ offices, Insurance Broker Firms, Agents, CSC (Common Service Centres) as well as POS. Objective is to reach to each and every farmer, who is residing in 7 districts allocated by Haryana  Government to ICICI Lombard. We are putting special efforts to use local youngsters by creating jobs for them in their own villages. In addition to selling Fasal Bima we will use them for insuring vehicles, tractors, cattle, health insurance & shop insurance. This initiative of Prime Minister Modi will result in generation of employment as well as increase in insurance penetration in rural India. We will provide these representatives with Tablets so that they can complete the proposal.

In terms of real estate sector investment, the wealthy Indians have expressed their top priority in the Office segment and Logistics also sees a three-fold rise. Even though the residential market in India is reeling under pressure, 40% of wealthy Indians are likely to invest in residential property in India in the next two years while 25% are keen for overseas avenues.

Nicholas Holt, Head of Research for Asia Pacific, Knight Frank Asia Pacific, said that the Attitudes Survey shows us that more Indian UHNWIs are choosing to send their children overseas for secondary and tertiary education. This has property market implications as parents are more likely to purchase property in overseas school or university locations, combining investment with the practicalities of housing their children. PGI is organizing 6th Annual Conference of ISPNS-2017 from 3rd to 5th March

Chandigarh 02^nd March:- The department of Plastic Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh is organizing the 6^th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Peripheral Nerve Surgery (ISPNS) 2017 from 3^rd to 5^th March 2017.  The society aims at improving the management of nerves injuries which include Brachial Plexus and the nerve supplying the upper and lower limb.  This year one of the cranial nerves, the facial nerve, has also been included for discussion.   The nerve injuries have become common these days as a result of Road Side Accidents involving two wheelers and four wheelers.  The nerves can also be damaged because of infections like leprosy.  A one day hands on workshop using cadaver dissections is also being organized on 3^rd March.  The experts will demonstrate and teach various methods to manage the nerve injuries in this dissection course.  The ISPNS meeting is being attended by more than 100 delegates from all parts of India.  Various experts who are masters in fields of nerve injuries will share their experience with the participants. to all.

ROTTO PGI organizes Organ Donation Awareness Drive at PGGCG-11:Camp Concludes with 133 Donating Blood & 51 Pledging for Organ Donation

Chandigarh 02^nd March:- Encouraged by the success of student engagement program, ‘Be The Change, Be An Organ Donor’ in other institutions, Regional Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (ROTTO) PGI covered Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11 (PGGCG-11) under the project by organizing awareness camp on Organ Donation in the college premises here today.

Alongside, a blood donation camp was also organized in collaboration with Deptt. of Transfusion Medicine, PGI and the NGO Shri Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable Trust.   

Formally inaugurated by Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal PGGCG-11, the camp witnessed an enthusiastic response with 133 donating blood and 51 pledging for organ donation thereby, showcasing their voluntary spirit.   Expressing her happiness at the positive turnout at the camp, the Principal, Prof. Anita Kaushal said that there could not have been a better way to teach the spirit of selfless service amongst the students.

Green and red being the colors of Organ and Blood Donation, the students created an ambiance by decorating the campus with green and red balloons. Followed by the inauguration, an awareness talk on the altruistic cause of Organ Donation was given by a team from ROTTO PGI comprising Ms Nilakshi and Ms Simmi B Sumbria . Responding to the queries posed by the participants pertaining to prevalent myths and misconceptions, the speakers asserted that the camp provided a good platform to reach out and make the students as well as the faculty aware and sensitize about the cause.     

Leading the team, Dr.  Anita,   Asstt. Blood Transfusion Officer, PGI was all praise for the college and NGO for their initiative. Dr. Anita shared that more than 200 students turned out for blood donation but 133 cases were successful as rest did not meet the pre-determined donor requisite criteria.

Detailing about the intent behind organizing the camp, Rakesh Sangar, President, Shri Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable Trust shared that the ideology of the NGO is to promote a humanitarian spirit through these community camps as nothing can instill a better feeling than being instrumental in saving someone’s life. हरियाणा प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने बताया कि बैठक में प्रदेश कांग्रेस ने हरियाणा की भाजपा सरकार की जन-विरोधी नीतियों तथा भाजपा नेताओं के घोटालों को और जोर-शोर से उजागर करने का निर्णय किया है। इस उद्देश्य से 7 मार्च, 2017 को हरियाणा विधान सभा का घेराव किया जायेगा। बैठक को सम्बोधित करते हुए डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि पार्टी नेता तथा कार्यकत्ता अपने-अपने जिलों में बैठकों का आयोजन करें और पत्रकार सम्मेलन करके राज्य की भाजपा सरकार की जन-विरोधी नीतियों का खुलासा करें और 7 मार्च को विधानसभा घेराव करने के लिए लोगों को प्रेरित करें।

डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार की गलत नीतियों और सरकार की अयोग्यता के कारण आज समाज का प्रत्येक वर्ग दुखी है। किसानों को उनके उत्पादन का लाभाकारी मूल्य नहीं दिया जा रहा जबकि विपक्ष में होते हुए भाजपा नेता ढोल पीट-पीटकर कहते थे कि स्वामीनाथन रिपोर्ट लागू करके किसानों को उचित मूल्य दिया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य से उद्योग पलायन कर रहे हैं जिससे श्रमिकों को अपना जीवन यापन करने में भारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है और इसके उपर केन्द्र सरकार की नोटबंदी की नीति ने जले पर नमक छिडक़ने का काम किया है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा नेताओं द्वारा अपना स्वार्थ सिद्ध करने के लिए लोगो को गुमराह किया जा रहा है और हमारे भाईचारे में सदियों से चले आ रहे मेलजोल को तबाह करने की कुचेष्ठा की जा रही है। यहां पर ही बस नहीं है यदि कोई व्यक्ति भाजपा की नीतियों की आलोचना करता है तो उस पर राष्ट्र-विरोधी होने की मोहर लगा दी जाती है और आलोचना करने वाले को देश से निकालने का फरमान जारी कर दिया जाता है। डॉ. तंवर ने कहा कि भाजपाइयों द्वारा शिक्षण संस्थाओं के माहौल को भी बिगाडऩे के कुप्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए हरियाणा कांग्रेस विधायक दल की नेता श्रीमती किरण चौधरी ने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार के घोटाले नंगे होने शुरू हो गए हैं। उन्होंने इस संबंध में गुरूग्राम में अरबों रूपए की 450 एकड़ से अधिक भूमि के अवैध हस्तांतरण का उल्लेख किया कुछ अधिकारियों और भाजपा के नेताओं की मिलीभगत के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। उन्होंने गुरूग्राम क्षेत्र में मेट्रो का मास्टर प्लान तबदील करने के के घोटाले से भी बैठक को अवगत करवाया।

दोनों नेताओं ने दोहराया कि एसवाईएल, जाट आरक्षण, गुरूग्राम में जमीन तथा मैट्रो घोटाला तथा भाजपा सरकार की अन्य जन-विरोधी नीतियों के विरोध में 7 मार्च, 2017 को हरियाणा विधान सभा का घेराव किया जायेगा। इन्होंने सभी पदाधिकारियों तथा कार्यकत्र्ताओं से अनुरोध किया कि वे अपने अधिक से अधिक साथियों सहित विधान सभा का घेराव करने पहुंचे।

बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से प्रस्ताव पारित करके पार्टी के कुछ विधायकों द्वारा एक पत्रकार सम्मेलन में हरियाणा प्रदेश कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अशोक तंवर और कांग्रेस विधायक दल की नेता श्रीमती किरण चौधरी को पद से हटाने का बयान देने की कड़ शब्दों में निन्दा की गई और इस बयान को पार्टी संविधान का उल्लंघन बताया। प्रस्ताव में पार्टी हाईकमान से अनुरोध किया गया है कि पार्टी विरोधी बयान देने के लिए इन विधायकों के विरूद्ध शीघ्रातिशीघ्र अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही की जाये।
