Chandigarh 2^nd March:- The cast and crew of upcoming Punjabi film Dushman has already successfully toured throughout Punjab promoting their film. Dushman starring Kartar Cheema, Jashan Singh, Sakshi Gulati is already getting a great response from the audience. Dushman releases all across Punjab on March 3, 2017. The movie is directed by Shagufta Rafique, a well-known name in the Bollywood film industry. She has penned scripts and screenplay for popular Hindi films like Jism 2, Raaz , Jannat 2, Ashiqui 2. Punjabi film Dushman is presented by Mahesh Bhatt who has associated himself to any Punjabi project for the first time.

The story of Dushman revolves around two friends coming from India and Pakistan respectively and is based on Indo-Pak relationship that guarantees to captivate the audience with its scintillating emotions, action & power packed performances. Popular playback singers and music directors of Bollywood Sonu Nigam and Ankit Tiwari have also sang songs in the film. 

Excited about the release of the movie, director of Dushman, ShaguftaRafique said that it was a story thatsheI couldn't have said no to. Dushman is an emotional roller coaster ride that will leave you teary-eyed. It is a story that will make you see friendship beyond borders. We haven’t passed any judgement in the film; we have left it for the audience to see how they react to such a sensitive topic. She is glad that she had a chance to work with some of the fine actors of Punjab. For the first time, audience will also get to see bollywood actor Gulshan Grover in one of its kind role.

Talking about his upcoming movie, Gulshan Grover said that then he heard the role and the different shades of the character, it instantly made him say yes to this role and the movie. Working with Team Dushman was real fun. It will be a new chapter in Punjabi cinema. He appeal to the people of Punjab to go to the nearest cinema halls to watch the movie and testify their love for the creative craft of making a film with great content. Movies like Bahubali with good content were well received by the audience and garnered lot of love in their native region. He hope Dushman wins hearts of the audience in Punjab.

Vinay Bhardwaj, the producer of Dushman is excited about the film that has already managed to create noise in Punjab and Bollywood too. It was such a pleasure to be associated with big names of Bollywood film industry. It was super exciting when Sonu Nigam and Ankit Tiwari tweeted about the film and it songs. Also, for the first time a producer, has been able to place the highly pious and religious places likeNankana Sahib and Harminder Sahib on the film poster. Vinay along with the entire cast has been traveling throughout Punjab promoting the film. Kartar Cheema who plays an important character in the film along with Punjabi singer-actor Jashan Singh feels that the audience might forget their name after the film but they will not forget the character they have portrayed. Both Kartar and Jashan are thankful to Mahesh Bhatt and ShaguftaRafique for making them do justice to their roles.
