The British School Chandigarh organizes Counseling Session on UK Education

Chandigarh 09^th May:- The British School, Chandigarh organized a counseling session by Shweta Jain, International Officer-King’s College London, & an Education Counselor for students. The workshop was held to make students aware about study opportunities available in United Kingdom (UK) in different streams.

The expert spoke about opportunities in Law, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Informatics, Arts & Humanities, Psychology, Social Science and Public Policy. In her presentation Shweta laid emphasis on How to write a good Personal Statement.

She discussed UK’s Under Graduate Subject areas & aspects like application process, entry requirements and Scholarship opportunities.

Mona Sethi, Principal, The British School, Chandigarh, said that the session was fruitful as students from Grade XI & XII became aware about courses available in UK. This will give them a wider choice when it comes to selection of a College & University after 12^th Exam.
