PGI Professor Elected as President of Indian Society of Neuroradiology

Chandigarh 10th November:- Dr. Paramjeet Singh, Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER, Chandigarh was elected as President of Indian Society of Neuroradiology (ISNR) at its annual meeting held at Gurugram .  This society was formed twenty years back with the first conference held in Chandigarh. The society has  now nearly 400 members practicing diagnostic Neuroradiology for brain diseases and Neuro-interventions for treatment of brain strokes, aneurysm etc. The main aim of the society is to promote latest techniques in diagnosing brain diseases and their treatment, a branch rapidly developing in India.
Dr. Ajay Kumar, Additional Professor from the same department was elected as Joint Secretary and Dr. Vivek Gupta, Professor, as executive member.
The scientific e-poster presented by Dr. Nirmalya Ray, DM Resident from the department of Radiodiagnosis was adjudged as the best poster at the conference.
