SS Fitness Club to organize Swimming Competition in Tricity from 15 to 17 August

Chandigarh 04th July:- S.S Fitness Club Swimming Pool today, announced to organize a competition  in Swimming Pool on 15 to 18 August 2018, in which the people around Chandigarh Panchkula and Mohali will be participants.

Giving more detail about the event, Suresh Thakur, the owner of the SS Fitness Club, JJ Singh Club Member said that the age limit for this contest will be valid from 7 years to 18 years. Prior to this competition. The registration for the competition started from 01st  July, 2018, and the fees for the registration is Rs.250/-. He shared further that the winner of the event will get Sports Cycle. The cost of the cycle is Rs.22000/-.  All the participants in competition will get participation Certificate.

He said one of the reasons to organizing the competition is that every child is required to learn swimming from childhood so that he can protect himself and others in any natural calamity. Today, we witness many such accidents every day because of  drowning in water in swimming pool and rivers. such accidents in which the educated young people of our country, like engineers, have to go to sleep due to lack of swimming. Therefore swimming is necessary not only in sports but in the modern age of today, it is also necessary to learn it from the spirit of security.

Suresh Thakur said that the youth of the Tri-city will be trained in swimming and will be tested in the competition, so that the youth can be motivated and exhibit their swimming emotions at any level.

Master Coach Raju, who is a known coach of Tri-city, will impart the training for the participants  for the competition in a special session.

श्रीमद् भागवत सप्ताह ज्ञान यज्ञ का आयोजन 6 से 12 जुलाई तक श्री मुनि मंदिर में: भव्य कलश यात्रा के पश्चात् कथा का होगा शुभारंभ

Chandigarh 03rd July:- ब्रह्मलीन श्री सतगुरू देव श्री श्री 108 श्री मुनि गौरवानंद गिरि जी महाराज की 31वीं पुन्य बरसी समारोह के उपलक्ष्य में श्रीमद् भागवत सप्ताह ज्ञान यज्ञ का आयोजन 6 जुलाई से 12 जुलाई को सैक्टर 23 डी स्थित श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा में किया जायेगा। 

इस अवसर पर अन्य कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी देते हुए श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा के प्रधान दलीप चन्द गुप्ता व पं. दीप शर्मा ने बताया कि 6 जुलाई को श्रीमद् भागवत सप्ताह ज्ञान यज्ञ से पूर्व इसी दिन प्रात: 9 बजे भव्य कलश यात्रा का आयोजन किया जायेगा जो कि सैक्टर 23 के सनातन धर्म मंदिर से आयोजित की जायेगी और इस सैक्टर के विभिन्न स्थानों से गुजरती हुई यह कथा स्थल श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा में पहुंचेगी। इस कलश यात्रा में साधु आश्रम महिला संकीर्तन मंडल एवं विभिन्न मंदिरों की महिला संकीर्तन मंडलियां भी अन्य भक्तजनों के साथ शामिल होगीं। 

सभा के महासचिव एन.एस.चौहान ने बताया कि श्रीमद् भागवत सप्ताह ज्ञान यज्ञ में पठानकोट/वृदांवन से कथा व्यास अतुल कृष्ण शास्त्री  जी सांय 5:30 बजे से 8:30 बजे तक श्रद्धालुओं को श्रीमद् भागवत् महापुराण का अमृत पान करवायेगें । यह प्रवचन 12 जुलाई तक जारी रहेगें। दलीप चन्द गुप्ता ने बताया कि 12 जुलाई को प्रात: 6 बजे सैक्टर 23 सी व डी में प्रभात फेरी का आयोजन किया जायेगा तद्पश्चात् प्रात: 7:30 बजे हवन किया जायेगा जिसके पश्चात् कथा का भोग व लगभग हजारों आमंत्रित संत महात्माओं का पूजन श्री श्री 108 स्वामी श्री पंचानन गिरी जी महाराज के सानिध्य में किया जायेगा और उन्हेंं वस्त्र, फल तथा दक्षिणा दी जायेगी और विशाल भंडारें का प्रसाद दिया जायेगा इसके बाद आम जनता के लिये भंडारा वितरण किया जायेगा। 

पं. दीप शर्मा ने ब्रह्मलीन श्री सतगुरू देव श्री श्री 108 श्री मुनि गौरवानंद गिरि जी महाराज के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि श्री मुनि महाराज जी ने 26 वर्ष अन्न का त्याग किया था, और 16 वर्षों तक मौन व्रत रखा था और भारत वर्ष के अनेक तीर्थों के दर्शन किये थे। तत्पश्चात उन्होंने चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर 23 में पहुंच कर एक कुटिया का निर्माण किया जिसे सभी श्रद्धालु मुनि जी की कुटिया कहते थे। उन्होंने यहां पहुंच कर यह महसूस किया कि यहां संत महात्माओं तथा गरीब लोगों  व अन्य यात्रियों के लिए कोई सुविधाजनक स्थान का निर्माण किया जाना चाहिए। जिसमें सर्वप्रथम एक शैड का निर्माण करवाया जिसमें संत महात्माओं तथा गरीब लोगों और यात्रियों के ठहरने व भोजन का नि:शुल्क प्रबंध किया गया। इस विचार के तहत उन्होंने एम.एस रंधावा, पूर्व चीफ कमिश्नर, चंडीगढ़ के कर-कमलों से यहां पूजा स्थल पर नीव पत्थर रखवाया और इस मंदिर में श्रीहनुमान जी की मूर्ति की स्थापना की। जिसके बाद श्री मुनि सभा के द्वारा भगवान के अन्य स्वरूपों की स्थापना करवाई गई। जिसके बाद उन्होंने 1978 में एक धर्मशाला का निर्माण करवाया जिसका नींव शिलानिवास 5 महान् विभूतियों द्वारा करवाया। जिनमें पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री ज्ञानी जैल सिंह, एक्साईस एंड टैक्सटेशन मंत्री, पंजाब यश, हरियाणा के मंत्री पं.चीरन्जी लाल शर्मा, चंडीगढ़ के चीफ कमिश्रर टीएन चर्तुवेदी तथा कांग्रेस कमेटी के प्रधान पं. केदारनाथ शर्मा के हाथों रखवाया गया था। जिसे मुनि जी ने कहा था कि उन्होंने पांच प्यारों द्वारा इस धर्मशाला का नींव पत्थर रखवाया है।

इस पत्रकार सम्मेलन में श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा के प्रधान दलीप चन्द गुप्ता व महासचिव एनएस चौहान, पं. दीप शर्मा, उपप्रधान ओ.पी पाहवा, कार्यालय सचिव रामप्रकाश तथा कोषाध्यक्ष सुरेन्द्र कुमार गुप्ता भी उपस्थित थे।

चण्डीगढ़ सेवादल को सुविधाएं देकर 2019 के लिए तैयार किया जाए: राज नागपाल

उन्होंने आज यहां जारी एक बयान में कहा कि अगले संसदीय चुनाव में आरएसएस जैसे मजबूत संगठन का मुकाबला करने के लिए चंडीगढ़ सेवादल को भी सुविधाओं से लैस करके सक्रिय करना होगा। उन्होंने पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री पवन कुमार बंसल को इस बाबत एक पत्र लिखा है जिसमें उन्होंने कहा है कि सेवादल के कार्यकर्ता गरीब तथा ज्यादातर लेबर क्लास तथा कालोनियों के लोग होते हैं। अगर सेवादल के लगभग 200 सक्रिय कार्यकर्ता तैयार किए जाएं, जिन्हें सेवादल की दो-दो वर्दियां, एक-एक टोपी तथा एक एक साईकल मुहैया कराई जाए और यह कार्यकर्ता गली-गली, कालोनी-कालोनी तथा शहर के घरों व बाजारों में कांग्रेस का झंडा लेकर पार्टी की उपलब्धियों का प्रचार करें एवं कांग्रेस के प्रति किए जा रहे दुष्प्रचार व फैलाई जा रही गलतफहमियों के बारे में भी जनता को जागरूक करें तो इसका आने वाले चुनाव में चंडीगढ़ के वोटरों पर सकारात्मक असर पड़ेगा व इससे कांग्रेस के आम कार्यकर्ता भी पार्टी के लिए काम करने के लिए घर से बाहर निकलेंगे व इसका पार्टी को लाभ मिलेगा।

MFIN Elects New President and Vice President

Chandigarh 02nd July:- Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN),the premier industry association and Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) for the microfinance industry in India has announced Udaya Kumar, MD & CEO of CreditAccess Grameen as its new President of the board. The board members also elected Dibyajyoti Pattnaik, Director, Annapurna Microfinance as MFIN’s new Vice President. The election took place in the annual general meeting of MFIN held on 28^th June in Bhubaneshwar.

                                  

Speaking on his appointment as the President of MFIN Udaya Kumar said that it is an honor that MFIN members have entrusted me with this responsibility. Alchemist Hospital organizes Talk on Spine Disease: 55 Senior Citizens Attended The Talk

Chandigarh 02nd July:- As many as 55 senior citizens attended a health talk on spine disease today.

Dr Harsimrat Bir Singh Sodhi, consultant-Neurosurgery at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula said that elderly patients are more prone to spine related problems, owing to age related degenerative changes in disc dehydration, hypertrophy and osteophytes. These all changes combine to produce nerve related pain and compressive of nerves at their exit foramina (canal stenosis).

Dr Harsimrat Bir Singh Sodhi further said that these changes can occur in the whole spine from neck to lower back when upper spine is affected or cervical spondylitis, patients’ experience pain in the arms, weakness in hand grip, or tightness of both legs. If similar changes occur in lower spine, there occurs pain in the back, pain in any of the legs or difficulty in walking. Elderly patients also suffer from osteoporotic fractures, due to decreased bone density with age. This leads to backache and worsening bent posture of the back, asserted Dr Sodhi.

He stressed the role of physiotherapy and regular exercise in preventing early development and progression of these spine related problems. For severe compression, surgery has a good role in bringing patients back to their normal daily routine, provided it is undertaken at an early stage and with specific indications said Dr Sodhi adding the misconception that spine surgery leads to poor outcome and bedridden status is entirely wrong. 

पंजाब मसीही एकता संघ की स्थापना: संघ युवाओं को नशे से दूर करने को लेकर करेगा सेमिनार

Chandigarh 02nd July:- चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आज पंजाब मसीही एकता संघ की स्थापना की घोषणा की गई। जिसमें संघ का प्रधान पास्टर एंथनी मसीह को बनाया गया। एंथनी मसीह ने कहा कि ये संघ पंजाब और चंडीगढ़ में नशे से जूझ रहे युवाओं को सही रास्ते पर लाने के लिए एक मुहिम चलाएगा। इस मुहिम में पंजाब क्रिश्चियन मूवमेंट के यूथ प्रधान सनावर मसीह भी साथ देंगे। इसको लेकर एक प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया जाएगा। युवाओं  को इसकी लत से बचने और दूर करने के उद्देश्य से 27 जुलाई को एक सेमिनार और प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। प्रोफेट बजिंदर  सिंह मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ दी ग्लोरी एंड विजडम चर्च की यूथ एकता की तरफ से ये आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित पत्रकार वार्ता में सनावर मसीह और पंजाब मसीह एकता संघ के प्रधान पास्टर एंथनी मसीह ने बताया की यह प्रार्थना सभा 27 जुलाई को जालंधर के गांव ताजपुर के चर्च में आयोजित की जाएगी। इस प्रार्थना सभा को प्रोफेट बजिंदर सिंह मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ दी गलोरी एंड विजडम चर्च की तरफ से भरपूर सहयोग और समर्थन मिल रहा है। 

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि उनकी संस्था इस बारे में राज्य सरकार से मांग करेगी कि राज्य को पूरी तरह से नशामुक्त करने की दिशा मे  ठोस से ठोस कदम उठाए। सरकार को चाहिए कि बेरोजगार युवाओं को रोजगार मुहैया कराए, या फिर रोजगार के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध कराए  ताकि युवा नशे की और आकर्षित न हो सके। ताकि नशे की लत में धंसते जा रही देश की युवा पीढ़ी को इससे बचाया जा सके। 

सनावर मसीह और एंथनी मसीह ने आगे कहा कि फिल्मों में मसीही समुदाय को  जिस प्रकार से पेश कर उनकी छवि को धूमिल किया जाता है। जिसका मसीह समाज विरोध जताता है। उन्होंने कड़े शब्दों में केंद्र सरकार से मांग की की फिल्मो में हो रहे मसीह समाज के इस शोषण को रोका जाए अन्यथा मसीही समाज इस दिशा में अपना विरोध जताते हुए आंदोलन करेगा।

Sahil Johnson Released His Second Single Track "Khayal"

Chandigarh 30th June:- The young singing sensation Sahil Johnson released his single track- Khayal- during a press conference at Press Club Chandigarh. This song is released by Folk studios and Sabi Sanj. Lyrics of this very romantic song are written by Balkaran Nagra and, Shamsher Kodha and Balvinder Thind are the producers of this song and Hans is the music director. On this occasion the entire team of the song was present at the conference. The video director of this song Aman Saini also informed the media that the costumes of the song song are designed by Studio Genesis and Karan Ghuman. This song will be available on all popular digital stores and will also be telecasted on all popular TV channels.

The young singer Sahil Johnson said that he was born in Chandigarh and is currently living in Amritsar with his family. He is pursuing his graduation in music from S N College in Amritsar and inorder to learn minute details of music he is also learning music at Gurmeet Bawa Academy. He sung his first song-Roti- along with his father. He said further that for the last five years he is the field of music and his only focus is good singing. In his interaction with the media he told that the youth is deviated towards all sort of wrong things and in such a society he wants to make a place for himself through good singing, though it is a difficult task but there are many Punjabi singers who have done this and his aim is also to do the same.

60 Years Old Rashmi Sabharwal Wins “Super Classic” at Mrs India Punjab 2018 Beauty Pageant

The event was organised by Mrs India Pageant and Production which witnessed the overwhelming response from beauties across the state at the grand finale. Rashmi Sabharwal will have an opportunity to represent Punjab at the Mrs India Beauty Pageant which is scheduled from 26-30 July, 2018 at Chennai.

While interacting with media in a press meet Rashmi Sabharwal said that she born in Delhi but travelled across the country with her husband retired Col. VK Sabharwal, she now runs Mind Swift Academy. She shared further that at the age of  60 when people prefer to sit leisurely, she balances her office well along her other passions which includes Salsa dancing, motivation talks, play enactments, writing for journals, mentoring, teaching and above all her active participation in beauty contests.

MA English & B.Ed by academics, Rashmi has taught prestigious Army and other schools across the country. Her interest towards beauty pageant aroused during the Army days where AWWA used to conduct fashion shows. He inclination towards beauty pageant took an exciting note when she won ‘May Queen’ title at the DSOI, Chandigarh in year 2010.  This couple has distinction to win four consecutive titles in their categories at the Rose Festivals.
