India’s largest telecommunications services provider, today said that it plans
to soon launch 4G services in over 100 towns/locations across Himachal Pradesh.
Customers can now upgrade their existing 2G/3G SIMs with 4G ready USIMs completely
free of cost at any Airtel retail store. Airtel 4G ready USIMs will be
available in towns/locations including Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra,
Dalhousie, Kasauli, Kullu, Manali, Nahan, Palampur, Bilaspur, Barotiwala,
Nalagarh, Parwanoo, Chintpurni, Jwalaji, Baijnath, Gagal, Jogindarnagar,
McLeodganj, Bir Billing, Sanjauli, Rehog, Jubbal, Barog, Nadaun, Nerchowk,
Mashobra, Chamba Ghat, Boiloganj, Kala-amb, Narkanda, Yoi, Rampur, Rohru,
Seoni, Sundarnagar, Theog, Jabli, Kufri, Arki, Bakloh, Bhuntar, Amb, Una,
Indora, Bandla, Banikhet, Koldam, Kumarhatti, Sarahan, Chunjar, Ladsa, Manpura,

With the USIM upgrade,
customers can continue enjoying their existing 2G/3G services, while staying
ready to experience Airtel 4G from the day of its launch.Airtel 4G is currently
available to customers in Shimla, Baddi, Mandi and Solan.

Airtel 4G will allow
customers to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and

The launch of Airtel 4G
across Himachal Pradesh isbe a part of Project Leap – Airtel’s nation-wide
